Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the AfterMe assessment and Digital Life Risk Report. By using the service or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms.

The service

AfterMe provides an automated, first-pass assessment of digital asset continuity and operational risk. A purchase grants you personal access to the paid questionnaire and a generated report for the purchase described at checkout. It does not grant access to another person's accounts or assets.

Not professional advice

Reports are informational and educational. They are not legal, tax, investment, insurance, cybersecurity certification, or estate-planning advice. You remain responsible for decisions and should consult qualified professionals for wills, inheritance, corporate control, taxes, regulated data, and security incidents.

Your responsibilities

Provide information you are authorized to use, keep your Gumroad license key private, and do not submit passwords, seed phrases, private keys, recovery codes, full API keys, or identity document numbers. Do not attempt to bypass payment verification, abuse report generation, disrupt the service, or use it to access assets without authorization.

Delivery, availability, and refunds

Reports are delivered on screen and, when email delivery is configured and available, as a PDF attachment. Automated services can occasionally fail or be delayed. Pricing, taxes, checkout, and any refund terms shown at purchase are processed through Gumroad and are subject to applicable law.

Intellectual property

You may use and adapt your generated report for personal or internal business continuity planning. AfterMe retains rights in the service, assessment design, branding, software, and reusable report structure.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee that every risk, platform, legal issue, or recovery path will be identified. To the extent permitted by law, AfterMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from reliance on a report or from account, asset, revenue, or data loss.
